Place of birth: San Blas / Isla Nargana
13 years ago Ligia left her life behind in her island hometown to seek new horizons in Panama City with her family. She learned to weave molas just in 2020 during the pandemic. Nargana Island is a more modern town dedicated to the business of consumer trade so creating Molas is not common. she likes to make Molas with flower and animal designs.

Leigh Anderson is the tech/marketing/strategy/photography leader for the project. Day job is global STEM-academic philanthropy director with $4B/year Siemens Software. Third author of business plans for two $40M-level VC-funding tech startups. Founder of a highly profitable $195M/year technical software product line including lead negotiator for an $18M software company acquisition. Also a crypto investor starting from a deep dive into crypto in early 2017.
Leigh's wife LeAnne Anderson (an R.N.) is a fabric artist who curated the Guna's fabric art pieces that we purchased. She still works as a nurse with mothers and babies in the hospital.
LeAnne and Leigh have residency and property in both the U.S. and Panama.
A Panamanian street-artist friend with a mechanical engineering degree, Cesar Amaya, is the translator for the Guna language, a good friend of the Guna artists, as well as our lead social media marketing team member.
